For this podcast we sit down for a conversation with Stephen Dannhauser and Rusty Staub about this years’ Annual Dinner. Listen as they discuss the impact that the annual dinner has on both the supporters of the Benefit Fund as well as the beneficiaries. So much of the ability of the fund to care for those families that lost loved one in the line of duty depends on the money raised through the dinner.
This year we paid tribute to the four living mayors of New York, learn how each has had a genuine commitment to the Benefit Fund. Rusty and Stephen also share the information about next year when we gather for the 25th Annual Benefit Fund Dinner.

Dear Rusty,
I want to thank you and I am so glad to have found this way to get the message out to you. I am a widow of a firefighter who died on 9/11. I have ten children from 23 to 9 years old. Your generosity has helped my family so much. I am usually so busy with the children that I am always behind in other duties. This year I have more time because I have been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and I am on Chemo. This life changing event has given me the time and the mindfulness to send out a heartfelt Thankyou to you. I have always prayed for you over these years and will continue to do so. I want very much to meet you in person so I hope to be well enough to attend the next dinner.
Thank you,
Jean Palombo
Just had to say “THANK YOU”. Over the years you have had a great impact on my life. I want to say thank you for being there
Thanks again for your generosity over the years I know all the widows appreciate it even if they do not say so
