Some of the best work is done at a grass roots or as you refer to it “loosely configured” level. The end result was a well respected charity that has been helping those in need for over 25 years. Wish you the best on the next 25.

  2. Grace says:

I agree with your discussion on the older widows who had little or no pension. Times were very different back then and I am pleased to hear that their loss is also remembered.

  3. NYPD_Blue says:

I visit NYC frequently and everytime I am in the cityi I feel safe. Thanks to the men in blue.

I think it is wonderful that there are organizations like yourself who take care of the families of fallen Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Port Authority Officers and EMS personnel.

  5. Nancy says:

NYC’s finest and bravest need to be better compensated! They should be making Wall Street salaries.

I’m a student and therefore, little money, but I appreciate your reaching out to all New Yorkers. Thanks for recognizing that every little bit counts.
